ACROCANTHOSAURUS & MAGNOLIASA Cretaceous carnivorous dinosaur who’s remains have been found in Texas, Colorado, and beyond. It is well-known for the large vertebrae along its spine which may have formed a tall ridge along its back. This painting won BEST OF SHOW at Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin, TX at the Prehistoric Art Contest in 2023.
UNTITLED, PaleofantasyscapeA first attempt painting of this particular type of fantasy scape. Please note that dinosaurs and human beings did not exist at the same periods of time. Hence the term PALEOFANTASY. There is a chain of chaos behind our two main characters as they move forward away from the erupting volcanoes in the distance behind them. There is a story here. What do you experience when you look at this painting?

DINOSAUR RIDGE - StegosaurusAt the end of my job at Dinosaur Ridge in Morrison, CO, I joined the Art Committee and I was voted on to re-paint a new mural on one of three of our on-site Stegosaurus statues. This photo is taken when I am near finished on the Cretaceous side of this dual-period mural. The other side being Jurassic. April, 2021.

Morris The StegosaursJodyopteryx with Morris the Stegosaurus statue at Dinosaur Ridge in Morrison, CO. The very first complete Stegosaurus was discovered near this location in the Morrison Formation (Jurassic Period). I was honored to paint one side of these big statues for the DR Main Visitor Center. I recommend visiting this attraction and taking a prehistoric tour! Three rock formations visible side by side as well as their three time periods, real fossils still in the rocks, and the #1 dinosaur track site in North America!
