MULADHARA: ZelicksMyself and Samantha Beasley performed the first ever live real-time art performance at Zelicks Icehouse in SMTX. We were accompanied by Dumpster Jedi and his original song, and the digital flow art of Topher Sipes. It was a one-time performance done outside in the cold of December. Sam and I swirled smoothed paint onto ourselves and one another's body's as we danced a meditative dance to never before heard music. The faces of our audience showed stunned/emotional/and excitement at the end. The applause was roaring!

His creations are fun and great for the intellectuals out there, come see this creation in person Fall 2021 in Denver, CO. This photo shows the two of us after a long day on-site inside of MW in Denver. Wanderweird is the mastermind behind this excellent room mural. We worked in a studio space most of January, and then sealed the walls and built them up inside the room at the end. I am truly grateful for this dream come true. I have been chasing a creative gig at Meow Wolf for the past 3 years, and this year I can finally say, “MAJOR GOAL ACHIEVED!”, and I am hungry for more. HUGE thanks to MW and my friend.

1st Trip to MeowWolfFor my 36th birthday, all I wanted was a weekend at MeowWolf. My partner and I drove all day and night, to and from New Mexico, and we had a blast! Little did I know until right before the trip a friend from our hometown had moved there and worked for this amazing artists co-op, so we even got a short glimpse behind the scenes. If you love art, adventures, and having fun, then you should visit MeowWolf!

I've always thought of myself as part creature and part human, and I think art should be created more for fun or meaningful issues rather than be taken too serious or for prideful reasons. It takes practice to stay a lighthearted creature in this oftentimes tough world, but it is possible to heal the world of hurt with light and laughter. <3 Jody Creats

Bird Dance Performance This is a photo of myself and Samantha Beasley after performing a live dance to Crystal Castle's (sounds by Dumpster Jedi) upstairs in Bower Bird Gallery, San Marcos, TX. 2014. The created the dance loosely on the ways male and female birds of jungle move to get their potential mate's attention. Art Outside Dino-Totem InstallationOne of my first solo installations built just for Art Outside in 2014. Only took me about 2 weeks of working only evenings in my back yard to build this thing. It lasted through several festivals and Art Outsides until the flood waters got to it. The dinosaurs are still around, retired to my back yard for resting. In this photo you can see a good friend and I are enjoying the totem and posing as our favorite dinosaurs. Can you tell which ones we are?
London: Chelsea School of Art One summer, many years ago during college, I traveled to The Chelsea School of Art in London to take a summer art program. This is a quick mini sculpture I made in one of the school's hallway windows overlooking part of the city.

Kerrville Folk Fest: VIBE TRIBE CREWThe Kerrville Folk Fest has been around for over 50 years. This is one of the first years they allowed live painters around the staff stage! This is the tent for VIBE TRIBE CREW run by two amazing female artists Steph Stone Perry and Aurora Joleen. Here's the gallery they set up in camp, it withstood Texas flooding in 2015.

SPARK AWARD for Martian CultureHere is a couple photos of The San Marcos Arts Council awarding me with the first city's SPARK AWARD. The SPARK award was given to me for starting something new in San Marcos, TX. The event was Martian Culture Art Experience: a monthly event for local artists and art vendors to get together with live music and live painting, fire performances, DJs and even a pop-up gallery. Only 3 years after starting M.C. our little town has exploded with new art galleries, art co-ops, markets, and similar events!

218 Halloween218 Co-op Gallery invited me to join them in dressing up as some kind of super hero (I was STORM from X-Men) and hand out candy to kiddos all day, and steer folks inside to check out the gallery. This is me with a few of the co-op art members.
The House of Eternal Return, NOV 2017Inside MeowWolf is an art exhibit of extraordinary brainteasing. Not only did they fit an old 2 story house inside of the space, but something is amiss there. The family who resided in that house has suddenly disappeared, and you can choose to solve the mystery, or just look around at the alien landscapes taking over the ordinary! This art exhibit filled me with child-like wonderment and awe, and has left me feeling inspired to create my own creatures and other worldly art!
